Jackson, Miss.—Business Communications, Inc. (BCI) has been named “Best Place to Work in Mississippi” among mid-sized companies in the state. BCI received the accolade through the “Best Places to Work” program presented by the Mississippi Business Journal in partnership with Southern Research Group and The Mississippi Society for Human Resource Management.

BCI was named a “Best Places to Work” finalist for two consecutive years before taking the top honor in 2008. The program, which made its Mississippi debut in 2006, recognizes companies’ best practices used in outstanding workplaces. Companies are evaluated based on their employees’ responses about corporate culture, values, vision, communication, teamwork, job satisfaction, training, learning and development, and performance and recognition.
