Description – Customer Service Specialist

As a Customer Service Specialist, your role will be to manage customer queries and complaints.   You will be asked to process tickets and escalate issues across a number of communication channels.  To do well in this role you need to be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated, and you must have experience working with computers.

Specific Job Duties

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and issues.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer issues.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
  • 8am – 5pm M-F – punctuality is of the utmost importance

  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
  • Comfortable using computers.
  • Experience working with customer support.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
  • Be self-motivated and resourceful while working with a team.
  • Working familiarity with technologies such as Microsoft Word, Excel, WebEx, Smartphones, email, etc., or the ability to learn them quickly
